Physical Therapy

Physical therapy (PT) services in home health are designed to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence in their home environment. These services are provided by licensed physical therapists (PTs) and physical therapist assistants (PTAs) under Medicare or private insurance guidelines. The breakdown of PT services in home health includes the following:

Transfers (bed to chair, sit-to-stand)
